The Homelessness Division of the City of Asheville Community and Economic Development Department has announced the dates for their upcoming informative learning series on homelessness. The series, presented by Homeless Strategy Specialist Debbie Alford, aims to provide community members with a deeper understanding of the causes, responses, and actions related to homelessness in Asheville and the surrounding region.

Alford emphasized the importance of the series, stating, "This 3-part learning series...offers community members the opportunity to learn more about the causes, responses, and actions that surround the homelessness issue in Asheville and the region."

The sessions will be held in person and are designed to be a progressive learning experience, with each session building upon the knowledge gained in the previous one. While pre-registration and attendance of all three sessions are recommended, participants also have the option to sign up for individual sessions based on their availability and interest.

The Homeless Learning Series serves as a valuable platform for the community to engage with experts, share perspectives, and explore ways to address homelessness collectively. Community members are encouraged to take part in this educational opportunity to contribute to meaningful solutions for homelessness in Asheville.
