City of Asheville Police Department issued the following announcement on Feb. 4.

Mark your calendars for the next Battle of the Badges blood drive on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. 

This is a fun “competition” between the Asheville Police Department, Asheville Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services where you can vote on your favorite organization while you donate blood.

All donors will receive a custom long sleeve Battle of the Badges T-shirt, a $10 Gift Card by email from Amazon, and a chance to win a FL trip: rcblood.org/heart

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Location: First Baptist Church, 5 Oak Street, Asheville, NC, 28801.
