County of Haywood issued the following announcement on July 13.

 Donation of eight pieces of body armor to the Samaritan’s Purse International Relief

Pursuant to G.S. 160A-280, after 5 days from the posting of this notice, the Board of County Commissioners of Haywood County will consider in their next general session, July 18, 2022, adopting a resolution approving the donation of 8 pieces of body armor to Samaritan’s Purse International Relief for use in the Ukraine war relief effort.

 Any questions regarding this donation shold be directed to the county Sheriff’s office during normal business hours at 828-452-6666
