County of Buncombe issued the following announcement on June 16.

Buncombe County Recreation Services would like to make the public aware Lake Julian Park front side will be closed Saturday, June 25, for a reservation-required campout event hosted by Recreation Services. Lake Julian Park back side will be open that day, and the entire park will be open as usual on Sunday, June 26. We apologize for any inconvenience.
