County of Haywood issued the following announcement on Jan.17.

All Convenience Centers, the Materials Recovery Facility and the White Oak Landfill will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2022 due to weather conditions.  All Convenience Centers, the Materials Recovery Facility and the White Oak Landfill will resume operation on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 weather permitting.
