Haywood Regional Medical Center announced on April 9 that it will hold a free Lunch and Learn event, “Living Your Best Life: A Practical Guide to Self-Care and Work-Life Balance,” on Monday, April 27 from noon to 1:00 PM at the Haywood Health and Fitness Center in Clyde.
The event aims to help community members build resilience, improve mood, and support overall health through practical strategies. The session will be led by Sheila Gordon, MS, RN, CPPS. Participants will learn science-based techniques for managing stress, increasing energy levels, supporting better sleep habits, and achieving a healthier balance between work responsibilities and personal life.
Organizers said the interactive workshop is open to all ages. Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing as light movement exercises will be included during the session. Lunch will be provided at no cost.
