The Southern Conference will hold the 2025 Ingles SoCon Volleyball Championship at Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville from November 20-23. The event is organized in partnership with Explore Asheville, the Asheville Buncombe Regional Sports Commission, and Ingles.

Tickets for the championship are now available. General admission passes cost $15 per day. A New Belgium Courtside Lounge package is also offered at $35, which includes courtside seating, two drink tickets, and light snacks.

This year marks a first for the conference as the volleyball tournament will be held exclusively at a neutral site for all teams. The event was initially planned to take place in Asheville in 2024 but was moved to Wofford College due to Hurricane Helene.

The relationship between the Southern Conference and Asheville spans several decades. “The SoCon and the city of Asheville have been linked for many years. The conference was headquartered in Asheville from 1986-2002 and the last 14 SoCon Basketball Championships have been played inside Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville. The basketball tournament was also in Asheville from 1984-95. The volleyball championship will be hosted in Asheville through 2027.”
