Graduates earn 193 degrees from Montreat College

About 32.6 percent of the 193 degrees and certificates handed out by Montreat College in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Montreat conferred 34 bachelor's degrees and 28 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in mental health counseling/counselor. Data shows the school gave out 32 master's degrees in mental health counseling/counselor, followed by 29 bachelor's degrees in "other" psychology and 26 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management.

The college enrolled 921 students for 2017-18, including 795 in undergraduate programs and 126 in graduate programs.
