Of the 532 people living in Hot Springs in 2019, 55.3 percent (294) were women and 44.7 percent (238) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Asheville Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 199-to-110. In the 65 and over age range, there were 45 females and 71 males.
