Census Bureau: More women than men in Asheville in 2020

Medium names 20

Of the 92,328 people living in Asheville in 2020, 52 percent (48,034) were women and 48 percent (44,294) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Asheville Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 1,784. In the 65 and over age range, there were 10,222 females and 7,214 males.
