Town of Biltmore Forest issued the following announcement on Apr. 25.

The Town’s Planning Commission will consider a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners for the Town’s Comprehensive Plan. This consideration will take place at their regular meeting on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. Information related to the meeting, including an agenda and agenda packet, may be found at this link.

The final draft comprehensive plan is the result of a months long planning and community engagement process. The plan itself is required by North Carolina law and must be in effect as of July 1, 2022 in order for the Town to continue exercising zoning authority. The Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing and consider the adoption of this draft plan at their next meeting on May 10, 2022.
