Town of Black Mountain issued the following announcement on Feb. 23.

Warmer weather is on its way and it’s the perfect time for a little Spring Cleaning! Join the Black Mountain Beautification Committee volunteers as they clear trash from our streets, neighborhoods, and by the waterways. The event takes place on Saturday, April 2 at 9 a.m. 

The meetup location is the lower parking lot of Town Square. Cleanup supplies such as litter grabbers, gloves, safety vests, and trash bags will be provided.
