The City of Asheville has clarified rules requiring property owners or tenants to keep adjacent sidewalks and rights-of-way clear of debris and overgrown vegetation. Failure to comply could result in corrective action by city staff at owners’ expense. The guidelines aim to improve safety and accessibility throughout Asheville.
Buncombe County is holding a community blood drive on April 29 at its administration building downtown. Donors will receive gift cards and refreshments as part of efforts supporting public health needs.
