Town of Canton issued the following announcement on Mar. 31.

What better way to celebrate Earth Day than with the GRAND OPENING of Chestnut Mountain Nature Park and Berm Park!

ALL are welcome for this family-friendly event, so please join us Saturday, April 23 from 11am-4pm and help us celebrate. (One mile east of Canton on Asheville Hwy)

We’ll have food trucks, live music, outdoor retailers, a kids pop-up bike park and more! Hiking and biking trails will be open to the public for the first time, so bring your gear and come check it out!
