Washington Bears, featuring former Christ School standout Lleyton Thomas-Johnson, were narrowly defeated 65-63 by the St. Thomas Celts in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 13.
The matchup, which tipped off at 7 p.m. at Jerabeck Athletic Center, marked the teams’ first meeting in this tournament.
