The City of Asheville has initiated a survey to gather residents' opinions and priorities in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Helene. The Helene Recovery Priorities Survey aims to collect input that will guide the City Council's decisions at their upcoming annual retreat.

Mayor Esther Manheimer emphasized the importance of community involvement, stating, “We recognize the challenges our community faces in the wake of this storm. Your input is critical to shaping a recovery plan that reflects the needs and values of everyone in Asheville.”

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and will be open until February 2, 2025. The findings will be presented to the City Council and will play a crucial role in discussions during their retreat scheduled for February 13 and 14, 2025.

Residents can access the survey online at https://publicinput.com/recoverysurvey2025. It is available in English, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Russian.
