County of Haywood issued the following announcement on June 10.
The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is seeking applications for one vacancy on the Tourism Development Authority Board.
The position is to fulfill an unexpired term that ends on December 31, 2022, at which point the new member will be eligible for another term as a representative from the following type of business:
- 1 seat representing accommodations of 20 units or less
Application forms may be downloaded from the “How Do I…Submit Volunteer Board or Committee Application” section of the county website at https://www.haywoodcountync.gov/9/How-Do-I or picked up from the County Manager’s office from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, at the Haywood County Courthouse, third floor, 215 North Main Street, Waynesville.
The deadline for applications is 5 pm, Friday, July 1, 2022.
Completed applications may be returned to the County Manager’s Office or attached to an email to Amy Stevens, Deputy Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, at amy.stevens@haywoodcountync.gov.
