Town of Maggie Valley issued the following announcement on June 30.

Celebrate Independence Day at Maggie Valley Festival Grounds on July 4th and gates open at 6 pm with free admission.

Bring your own blanket, chairs, picnic baskets & yard games!

Maggie Valley Police Association will sell BBQ plates for $10.

Please no pets, personal fireworks or alcohol.
