City of Asheville discusses Helene debris removal efforts on local radio show

The City of Asheville hosts a bi-monthly radio show, "What’s Up AVL!", which provides insights into the activities and projects undertaken by city staff and departments. The show aims to inform the community about various initiatives in the area.

In a recent episode, host Sam Parada discussed post-Helene debris removal efforts with Jessica Hughes, a Communication Specialist with the City of Asheville, and Cassandra Lohmeyer, Recycling Coordinator with Buncombe County.

For those unable to listen live on Wednesdays at noon, replays are available from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays on WRES 100.7 FM. Additionally, previous episodes can be accessed on the City’s YouTube channel.
