Asheville Parks & Recreation (APR) offers a variety of opportunities for sports and fitness enthusiasts, with multiple parks featuring ballfields and courts for volleyball, pickleball, tennis, and basketball. As the weather cools, community centers provide indoor activities to keep residents active throughout the season.

Community centers offer open gym time during the week for students, families, and community members to play pick-up volleyball, basketball, and pickleball. Participants can obtain a free key fob at any center.
