County of Haywood issued the following announcement on Jul. 19.
The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications to fill two vacancies on the Haywood County Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee. The two vacancies are for members to serve initial one-year terms to begin once the positions are filled. Upon completion of the first term, members are eligible for additional 3-year terms. Applicants must be Haywood County residents.
Application forms may be downloaded from the “How Do I…Submit Volunteer Board or Committee Application” section of the county website https://www.haywoodcountync.gov/230/Boards-Commissions-A---H or picked up from the County Manager’s office from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, at the Haywood County Courthouse, third floor, 215 North Main Street, Waynesville.
Completed applications may be returned to the County Manager’s Office or attached to an email to Amy Stevens, Deputy Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, at amy.stevens@haywoodcountync.gov .
