City of Asheville issued the following announcement on Feb. 21.
Code Purple in effect for Friday, February 25, 2022.
Bus fare to and from shelter will continue at no cost.
SHELTERS
- ABCCM Costello House for men: 141 Hillside St
- Salvation Army for women and children only
- Trinity UMC : 587 Haywood Rd. : available for vulnerable people who are unable to access other options.
