County of Haywood issued the following announcement on Oct. 21.
The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants for the Haywood County Planning Board. The position is for an active farmer who is a full-time Haywood County resident. The individual selected will fulfill an unexpired term through August 19, 2022, at which point they will be eligible for an additional three-year term.
Application forms may be downloaded from the "How Do I....Submit Volunteer Board of Committee Application" section of the county website (https://www.haywoodcountync.gov/230/Boards-Commissions-A---H) or picked up from the County Manager's office from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, at the Historic Haywood County Courthouse, third floor, 215 N. Main Street, Waynesville.
Completed applications may be returned to the County Manager's Office or attached to an email to Amy Stevens, Deputy Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners at amy.stevens@haywoodcountync.gov .
Applications will be accepted through November 19, 2021.
