Town of Canton issued the following announcement on Oct. 29.
The Town of Canton is proud to sponsor the annual Veterans Day Ceremony honoring all Veterans, on November 11, 2021, at 11:00am in the Pisgah High School Auditorium located at 1 Black Bear Drive, Canton NC. Guest Speakers will be USMC Veteran Darrell Honeycutt, Sergeant Major Matthew Brookshire, and everyone’s favorite emcee's Eddie Foxx and Amanda Foxx along with a Special Performance by American Country Music Artist Matt Stillwell. Everyone is welcome and admission is free.
Also, to Honor all our Veterans, American Music Artist Matt Stillwell will give a concert FREE to the public in Sorrells Street Park in downtown Canton from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The Town of Canton invites everyone to come and honor and celebrate our true heroes that have afforded us the freedoms that we all enjoy.
Please bring chairs or blankets, no formal seating available.
No pets allowed, except for documented service animals.
Food Trucks will be onsite.
