TOWN OF WAYNESVILLE: “Swim Lessons Are Back at the Waynesville Recreation Center!”

Town of Waynesville issued the following announcement on Mar. 17.

The Waynesville Parks and Recreation Department will now offer group swim lessons on a monthly basis at the Waynesville Recreation Center. The curriculum for the lessons will be for children learning to be safe and comfortable in the water first and then adding minor stroke technique. A certified lifeguard will be instructing these lessons.

The lessons will be level one beginner. The maximum in the class is eight. This is for ages three and up.

The dates will be March 21 to 31, Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the Waynesville Recreation Center. The cost is $60 per child. Registration is on a first come first serve basis.

You may register at the Waynesville Recreation Center, Monday – Friday, from 7 am to 3 pm.
