Tell us about Home2 Suites!
We are Home2 Suites by Hilton Asheville Airport. We offer comfortable, spacious suites for extended stays in Asheville or quick weekend trips. All of our rooms have a full kitchen, sofa sleeper, work desk, and customizable furniture to truly make the space your own. We just opened in June 2020.
We strive to create a welcoming & comfortable environment – truly our guest’s home away from home. We offer 24 hour coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in our Lobby Oasis – a relaxing space to get some work done or just hang out and watch TV. Kick your feet up if you want!
What has been Home2 Suite’s most innovative idea?
Of course we look to Conrad Hilton as an inspiration for our day to day operations. He strived to create a business to share the light & warmth of hospitality – a motto we still live by.
What do you and your staff enjoy best about working in the hospitality industry?
What we enjoy most about working in hospitality is being able to welcome our guests to Asheville and share our insider knowledge of the city. We love being able to tell our guests about our favorite hikes, restaurants, and views of this amazing place! We welcome our guests like they were visiting our home.
How has your Home2 Suites modified during COVID-19? What have you learned?
During Covid-19 we have adopted and followed the Hilton Clean Stay initiative to ensure safety and comfort for our guests. With Hilton Clean Stay, we require facial coverings in all of our public spaces & elevators, we offer masks/hand sanitizer for guest use, have plexiglass at the front desk for checkin/checkout, encourage social distancing, and sanitize all public spaces with Lysol every hour. We also use a Hilton Clean Stay sticker on the door to seal the guest room after housekeeping cleans to ensure no one enters the room after it has been sanitized, except for the guest. Our guests love knowing their room is sealed and safe for them.
Anything else you’d like to share?
We have a lot of amenities! Some to mention are: indoor heated saline pool, complimentary guest laundry facilities, free WiFi, free parking, free continental breakfast, Spin2 Cycle fitness center, pet friendly rooms, back patio with mountain views and gas grills for guest use and a front patio with TV and fire pit!
