Town of Biltmore Forest issued the following announcement on Aug. 25.
Did you receive flood damage as a result of Tropical Depression Fred? If so, please reach out immediately to Buncombe County's dedicated flood damage response center. You may be eligible for funding associated with repairs for flooded basements or other damage. The first step is to contact Buncombe County so they can perform an assessment on your property. If you cannot reach someone at Buncombe County, please call the Town Hall at (828) 274-0824 and let us know. We'll be happy to connect someone to you as soon as possible.
