Town of Black Mountain issued the following announcement on Jan. 16.
Cherry Street public restrooms suffered damages during a winter storm after the heating system failed causing water to freeze and burst multiple water pipes.
Town staff are currently soliciting repair bids and are working with the Town's insurance company on a repair solution.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Visitors are encouraged to use the public restroom facilities located in Town Square at 100 E. State Street, Black Mountain, NC 28711 until further notice.
