First baby of 2025 born at Haywood Regional Medical Center

Haywood Regional Medical Center (HRMC) has announced the birth of its first baby of 2025, Aubrey Bell Seagraves. Born on January 1 at 4:29 p.m., Aubrey weighed 8 lbs 13 oz and measured 20.5 inches long. Her parents, Sarah Heatherly and Charles Seagraves, are residents of Waynesville, NC. She joins her older brother Jonah Seagraves.

The hospital marks the beginning of Generation Beta with Aubrey's arrival. Her parents shared their gratitude for the care they received: "We thank everyone at HRMC for everything they do and for making it an amazing experience.”

The family was supported by labor and delivery nurses Lauren Hensley, RN, Deana Overcash, RN, and Kristina McClean, MD. Chris Brown, RN, HRMC CEO stated: “We are truly excited to be part of the arrival of this precious little girl,” adding that welcoming a new baby is always special.

HRMC extends congratulations to the Seagraves family and looks forward to supporting Aubrey’s growth. The center continues its commitment to providing excellent labor and delivery services.
