Haywood Regional Medical Center will host the Haywood Heart Expo on February 27th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Haywood Regional Health and Fitness Center, located at 72 Leroy George Drive, Clyde, NC. This event aims to promote heart health awareness and provide resources for cardiovascular well-being.
The expo is open to the community without the need for RSVPs. Activities include a guided walk led by Micheal Miller, MD, Cardiologist with Western Carolina Cardiology. Participants can learn from an expert while engaging in physical activity. Free blood pressure screenings will also be available.
Attendees can visit various tabling events hosted by hospital departments and professionals, offering information on nutrition and exercise. A complimentary lunch featuring heart-healthy foods will be provided.
The event welcomes all community members regardless of age or fitness level. It offers an opportunity to learn about heart health in an educational setting.
